Commentary: A Lesson in Power

The lesson the Right must learn now—or it never will—is that power cannot be eschewed but must instead be used.

It is true that the GOP and the Democratic Party are fundamentally unified in many ways. Nevertheless, if America is subject to “uniparty” rule, the Democratic half is the more effective, ruthless, and ambitious half.
