The casino signs imagery with the casino owner is clever. I just view much of it as big sales talk, pitching a tough sell to get the public to buy-in to policies.
I don't see the connection. I was in the U.S. Army as a Russian linguist posted to West Germany, 1979-82. I studied the communist regimes closely. The comparison of Trump to communist Czechoslovakia is ludicrous. Especially after Tulsi Gabbard just uncovered the Biden regime's plan for totalitarian repression (link below). The Left's organs of control have not been repressed, but remain strong: The Democrat Party, likely a majority in the House after Nov. 2026, the NYTimes and other media, the slightly defunded universities, Soros, the war-obsessed foreign policy establishment, 90% of the Beltway, the Democrat state regimes in California, Colorado, etc. And so on. In less than 3 months Trump hardly has put a dent in anything. You ridicule Musk for not making a dent in the deficit. So the debt remains at $37 trillion and growing at $2 trillion a year, giving the country a date with bankruptcy. Gabbard here: https://x.com/OwenGregorian/status/1913550520897184199
Trump is not a communist and I'm glad about that. The connection, as I illustrated, has to do with the way his team uses language – endless hyperbole and hilariously effusive praise – to crowd out dissent.
All I see is dissent. I subscribe to the NYT, FT, WSJ, Time, The Nation, Wired, LA Times, etc. Musk's own X coughs up Bernie Sanders, AOC, Sen. Chris Murphy, et al. My far-left congressman, Dave Min, emails me his stuff. My senators are Schiff and Becerra. Then there's MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. My governor, Newsom, sends out an endless barrage of attacks on Trump. If Trump were all-dominant, Musk would be cutting more than (it turns out) just $150 billion of the $2 trillion annual debt increase. Assuming Trump avoids the nuclear war Kamala would have brought us, the $37 trillion-and-incresing-fast debt will bring us down. It can't be avoided.
The constant fawning and praise for Trump certainly feels kitschy and campy, and I think that is exactly the point. A sort of irony that is meant to anger and upset the left-wing “Orange Man Bad” crowd. I find it amusing, though it seems every president engages in this to one degree or another.
At least in this administration they have cabinet meetings.
He is truly the Content President. Hopefully he'll make a Cabinet position for Gaming Czar.
hahaha

I enjoy reading articles based on at least some facts not just opinions so thumbs down on this.
Meh…
